I have a new treat for ya'll that I've been working on. Lately, I've been really into hand written letters, both writing and sending them! Not only would I spend time with my handwriting and what I have to say, but i used special paper and packaged them neatly. And after all that work I put into my letter, the plain white envelope I was slipping it into just didnt do it justice.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZljKaj7ky49sZsS8ueTy1-ZL24MrA_1cjGH49SkhvVSbQhwC7TTgy4CPEJUgjyu1x7XO83HEUgeqDANrWj2QvZrsssYfGGOi_sc0ZE0YILbTQchjQdBYxO1iRohj6re-LpubcLx8o3TQN/s1600-h/CIMG6030.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZljKaj7ky49sZsS8ueTy1-ZL24MrA_1cjGH49SkhvVSbQhwC7TTgy4CPEJUgjyu1x7XO83HEUgeqDANrWj2QvZrsssYfGGOi_sc0ZE0YILbTQchjQdBYxO1iRohj6re-LpubcLx8o3TQN/s400/CIMG6030.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5439036617062364658" border="0" /></a><br />So I thought to myself, if I were to receive a beautiful, hand written letter in the mail, how would I like for it to appear? Well, I developed a design for envelopes to stay together well, and have spent many days and night hand dyeing special paper.<br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirtuAmTArHFaxoN4YkIScNqh73S7xD7-Veuan_0grO1j_W5JCMRv3CZVmraYg6LZuxI65CUtg5IKQEsg1W_mJ0UrGMNZs1gXcxkP21xlfBTVRyJK2Jh9XeQhyW0zssb8XsF_WLRLvVaKRk/s1600-h/CIMG6040.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirtuAmTArHFaxoN4YkIScNqh73S7xD7-Veuan_0grO1j_W5JCMRv3CZVmraYg6LZuxI65CUtg5IKQEsg1W_mJ0UrGMNZs1gXcxkP21xlfBTVRyJK2Jh9XeQhyW0zssb8XsF_WLRLvVaKRk/s400/CIMG6040.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5439038213288582482" border="0" /></a><br />With hundreds of new papers, I am ready to get stamping. NOT LISTED YET******<br />If you want to order any, let me know and I'll start listing them<br />I like to post here and get some feedback first, you understand =]<br /><br />Hope you all had a great holiday weekend! Valentines day was a sweet one over here, hubby woke me up with the usual backrub, but since it's Valentines I got a full body rub including feet =] I had been talking about how I wanted to eat more cultural foods recently, and I don't like breakfast in bed for 2 reasons. 1. I am never hungry until at least 2 hours after I wake up and 2. I love cooking with my man! With that being said, he romantically made plans for us to learn how to make crepes together! And to put it over the top we got strawberry syrup and fresh strawberries.<br /><br />He actually had to work that day....=[ sad I know. But when he came home he definitely made up for it! We had bratwurst for dinner and he came home with a giant bouquet of valentines flowers and yummy chocolates along with my favorite wine. Oh did I say A bouquet of flowers? I meant two, he topped it off with peach roses!!!<br /><br />For presidents day we enjoyed delicious Thai food before our adventure through the local botanical gardens, so gorgeous! We topped it off with a movie night and saw Paranormal Activity with sweetheart steak and organic potatoes for dinner. Let's say I'm a happy girl. Tell me about you're Valentines Day!<br /><br />xoxo<br />Le VintageLe_Vintagehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06344392563300453172noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5046795490188948069.post-72712765077292418362010-01-28T16:30:00.000-08:002010-01-28T21:04:56.612-08:00The Blog is Back!<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkIlT-RjnO-pdICQ-0TCsEi3SF-Cz3LdOXHRtB3oBuFNPE-1kxmgAJhOJCr0zsBPvLdIuWn0sS6UM9TWS1FkJT6x1zChe9qYbpB6mpYmKSjYvwZDXH3Wmys__QyhiHd1P9Fol27lIB5ioj/s1600-h/CIMG5872.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkIlT-RjnO-pdICQ-0TCsEi3SF-Cz3LdOXHRtB3oBuFNPE-1kxmgAJhOJCr0zsBPvLdIuWn0sS6UM9TWS1FkJT6x1zChe9qYbpB6mpYmKSjYvwZDXH3Wmys__QyhiHd1P9Fol27lIB5ioj/s400/CIMG5872.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5431973887906766018" border="0" /></a><br />OH EM GEE!!!! Using sturdy envelope and 2 pieces of good cardboard, you can pad it with packaging material or even some tissue paper and decorate it to you're fancy! This can even save you money.

<br /></span><span style="font-size:100%;">Hope you guys have an amazing upcoming weekend. It's 2 am and I can't sleep...I already drank the warmest cup of raspberry tea the hubby bought me last Christmas, dreaming of my white wonderland coming up this December. We've been saving up for Oregon for years, and came across a streak of bad luck that drained the entire fund (stupid lawyers), and then my 8 months stunt without work, but now we're trying to get back on track and waiting for an opportunity for him to transfer to arrive. So I took this insomnia opportunity to write up the rules for you. It's been these sleepless nights for weeks now, and the doctor prescribed me something but it's not putting me to sleep. Hmmm I'm not sure what else to try, suggestions!

What I'm thinking is having each participant pick 4 characters. One should be Alice, another The Queen Of Hearts, and the third the Mad Hatter. The last one is optional, you can either make a Tweedle Dee/Tweedle Dum, Chesire Cat, or White Rabbit Tag for the last one.<br /><br />What I am thinking is you make 3 of each tag character, a total of 12 tags. You'd send each one to a different participant, but still swapping Alice for an Alice or a white rabbit for a white rabbit. By the end you'll have 3 different interpretations of Alice and 3 unique designed cards.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbLDaCX6BX2FsThH_C475mHjD5jnMvG7MlJBbGHDV_nif1GgKJx9-wwknQgi9HYmo_33uVrV4nwnlZzv54UE8wF9x7ijZjiWiLVkLEvyXTb4YmzuhWuiPQu_zM0mrYyQK9qpPC8HaLZlRW/s1600-h/Alice_in_Wonderland.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 381px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbLDaCX6BX2FsThH_C475mHjD5jnMvG7MlJBbGHDV_nif1GgKJx9-wwknQgi9HYmo_33uVrV4nwnlZzv54UE8wF9x7ijZjiWiLVkLEvyXTb4YmzuhWuiPQu_zM0mrYyQK9qpPC8HaLZlRW/s400/Alice_in_Wonderland.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5365880482576577458" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi2rxHnWsxs7uzEJtjJ3Ude9wjRx7s9ecsZ0ZRNhbPqRGeddKS2yBHe1xhuOPQVYEJDQ_kQzauWruFw4me9POOKayccydhiEYrVDTGw8R1tbDIYZFguZ1aAUsWpmOtOqxtxAg_yEyUzO6rc/s1600-h/alice-wonderland-d23.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 301px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi2rxHnWsxs7uzEJtjJ3Ude9wjRx7s9ecsZ0ZRNhbPqRGeddKS2yBHe1xhuOPQVYEJDQ_kQzauWruFw4me9POOKayccydhiEYrVDTGw8R1tbDIYZFguZ1aAUsWpmOtOqxtxAg_yEyUzO6rc/s400/alice-wonderland-d23.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5365879397361064722" border="0" /></a>One of the fun parts is that you can either use images from the original 1951 Lewis Carroll illustrated novel, one of my personal <a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4c562ovAWlHk7IfFANjXOCfjmfPRDQpekqGkSILYlOWl_YYeLiPcfl-gJbExgV4A0NGRaeS-hmrbea_WDKWGwouvnuoDbxTZNaZFh0_kap8oQbuDs8r7gDNh7CJ3QMtSlt3c-Tl704LaM/s1600-h/disney_alice.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; float: right; cursor: pointer; width: 284px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4c562ovAWlHk7IfFANjXOCfjmfPRDQpekqGkSILYlOWl_YYeLiPcfl-gJbExgV4A0NGRaeS-hmrbea_WDKWGwouvnuoDbxTZNaZFh0_kap8oQbuDs8r7gDNh7CJ3QMtSlt3c-Tl704LaM/s400/disney_alice.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5365811690361383602" border="0" /></a>favorites, perfect for a vintage antique touch.<br />Or, a classic image of what most of us think of when you think Alice, the Disney version!<br />And as I announced in one of my previous posts, I know we are all looking forward to Tim Burtons release of the new live Alice In Wonderland!<br />It's very limited image wise however, so don't get too sucked into the excitement.<br />Or you can use any other images you find online that you think creatively displays the essence of Alice in Wonderland. I will be posting those hopefully on the next post, which makes this one all the more important!!!<br /><br />I hope you ladies have an amazing incredible week and I look forward to each and every comment you girls leave me!!!!<br /><br />I'm estimating about 3 weekes to do these, because we are all so busy in the summer. You girls all made the most lovely tags, hanging in my living room wall right now! I had so much fun getting to know you gals and catching up on you're blogs, I hope you enjoyed you're time well spent as much as I have. Second, I'd like to apologize to all my loyal followers who have been waiting for a real post from me. It all started on my last post, when I didn't have time to post pictures. Only a few short hours later, I returned to Blogspot to shout out to all my friends, when my computer started to go through a complete mental breakdown. Needless to say I had to take it to be fixed, and I have been without internet access for way too long. Couldn't have happened at a worse time like the end of a swap!<br /><div style="text-align: center;"><br />So I am deeply apologetic to all my swap participaters for the delay, but please rest assure that you're tags will slowly be trickling into you're mailboxes, and I know you're eager for the post like I am. And eager to see all the results! Check out you're other swap partners blog's if you haven yet already, post pictures of their lovely tags, and be sure to give them credit for all their talent.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjphd1TnmP1JwwOGJRGw_yhrAkyn8Ki4vq65AwDAqUtBl4khY8XBLXGVe_Nc5JhPYpu9zmf8mLPt8d845VoAe8ChShOZAQgZaDa8WVc7cpi4c1zZ5eeRS4Wo9bjsbo3sGykN6NiamqIE55g/s1600-h/alicetease4.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 282px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjphd1TnmP1JwwOGJRGw_yhrAkyn8Ki4vq65AwDAqUtBl4khY8XBLXGVe_Nc5JhPYpu9zmf8mLPt8d845VoAe8ChShOZAQgZaDa8WVc7cpi4c1zZ5eeRS4Wo9bjsbo3sGykN6NiamqIE55g/s400/alicetease4.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5361091203805314738" border="0" /></a><br />Now...personally Marilyn Monroe has stolen a piece of my heart since I was a little girl, however with the upcoming release of the new Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland ( in case you havent heard), it not only seems more fitting but obviously the most popular. Introducing the White Witch, a classic Alice character in the original book that was never incorporated in the cartoon movie. She'll even be played by Ann Hathaway.<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdFnampKellJcetyEGGKbsF70eY7KWFYxePEBS5GuxvlxBoXzfM6GFo4cHJqKue8zyG6St4eWwakLVaMBcluRXE3L1nTwioGi4fn4t34qY839WxDjMrvvxSPwX-8uxkBpm9rG7q_dE5-CW/s1600-h/mad+hatter.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; float: right; cursor: pointer; width: 249px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdFnampKellJcetyEGGKbsF70eY7KWFYxePEBS5GuxvlxBoXzfM6GFo4cHJqKue8zyG6St4eWwakLVaMBcluRXE3L1nTwioGi4fn4t34qY839WxDjMrvvxSPwX-8uxkBpm9rG7q_dE5-CW/s400/mad+hatter.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5361092039736542226" border="0" /></a>If you scroll down more you'll find you'rself encountering a<br /><br />photograph of<br />Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, and the pair just crack me up! Perfect day to lay by the pool and catch a nice tan in the summer warmth. I love that feeling of the sun englufing you're body like a warm blanket and sweeping you with a layer of light. And oh- those dreaded UV rays, what would we do without that anticipated cool breeze? Lately I've been so busy with the swap I've hardly had any time to blog! I've been up to quite a lot, some of you may have heard it was me and the hubby's 3 year anniversary, and it was quite a treat. He made it a special 3 day adventure, and we had sooo much fun.<br /><br />I've been having an impossible time finding a job and have been out of work for 6 months now, so to say the least we're struggling. But through all the stress I've still managed to find time to work on the swap and make fruitless attempts to relax, I havent been this stressed out since, like, high school.<br /><br />I hope you noticed the picture I took up top! I've been trying to get something to sell on etsy it's been like over 2 months but I can't post anything else til I get more than cents in my bank account, so I retook some better button pictures. And as much as I really do want to continue, looks like this is a short blog.<br /><br />Off to more job hunting...Le_Vintagehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06344392563300453172noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5046795490188948069.post-76690385679217708562009-06-28T15:02:00.000-07:002009-06-28T16:22:14.407-07:00A Marie Antoinette History Lesson<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqYCAXPLsFGoUS-y-mN5zsucrueyD4s5E3Bpg-KFQntPxxUcJeCrsEEzXO_tdybt9BLjC0rqM7FJCYGHXbcI-MqTU-_yFTBGQ9Xgx0gHmwdPNzH2Risn1JjQMjzPltmZXMTA834L7u6cjf/s1600-h/She+Was+Beautiful.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 312px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqYCAXPLsFGoUS-y-mN5zsucrueyD4s5E3Bpg-KFQntPxxUcJeCrsEEzXO_tdybt9BLjC0rqM7FJCYGHXbcI-MqTU-_yFTBGQ9Xgx0gHmwdPNzH2Risn1JjQMjzPltmZXMTA834L7u6cjf/s400/She+Was+Beautiful.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5352504005347654642" border="0" /></a><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: rgb(255, 153, 255);"><br /><span style="color: rgb(102, 0, 204);">I'm hearing some whisper's of curiosity about Marie Antoinette, and I know how difficult it can be to find some good solid information on her, so I have a surprise for you!</span><br /><br /><span style="color: rgb(102, 0, 204);">Time for a short history lesson for Marie. Her baths were perfumed with sachets containing a mixture of blanched almonds, pine nuts, linseed, lily and other assorted herbs. One sachet was large enough to sit on and two others were added that also included bran so that she could rub her body to exfoliate her skin. She used soaps scented with herbs or amber and she also added drops of essence of lavender or essence of lemon in her bathwater. She also placed these oils in earthenware dishes, to purify the air in her apartments. These where custom blended for her by her court perfumer, Jean-Louis Fargeon and he named these preparations <em>Bain de modestie</em>, in honor of her known modesty.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_HHQw3PWtTEbJQnvz465Rpwsi9xrutIshV8tWzhfcqehI9jgawKpV5l_OM1ZuFoiPTInXwXO_iZTbu5ptUm0GmvjG17ARI_gxUOIA_TldSVxNLn9XIuKoRAoZKBO6fDg4tPCgThyphenhyphencI2B7/s1600-h/marie.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 322px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_HHQw3PWtTEbJQnvz465Rpwsi9xrutIshV8tWzhfcqehI9jgawKpV5l_OM1ZuFoiPTInXwXO_iZTbu5ptUm0GmvjG17ARI_gxUOIA_TldSVxNLn9XIuKoRAoZKBO6fDg4tPCgThyphenhyphencI2B7/s400/marie.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5352505852730154994" border="0" /></a>Her gloves were treated with a mix of sweet almond oil, white wax and eau de rose. She also received personal gifts from the King which included a fan that was encrusted with diamonds and bracelets with her MA cipher over a blue enameled clasp. The bounty of diamonds and pearls continued on her white brocade wedding dress, which had the glittering jewels stitched into the fabric. Once dressed from head to toe in her sparkling treasures, she was off to be married again… and this time, the uncomfortable 15 year old Dauphin was waiting at the alter.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEo8pv4jVKwMVvoqAlTshPkolnNS5-DdnHxQCuPaMjWe75P71hHFR8_7XWjObLqEbbjWRDyI4eNcm0KBtNcI-l4tdSmaiNSDifhN139E9LUGMEn6tV_JVeBz0r061YZj7oJ5cvgj_wdtQn/s1600-h/earings.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 387px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEo8pv4jVKwMVvoqAlTshPkolnNS5-DdnHxQCuPaMjWe75P71hHFR8_7XWjObLqEbbjWRDyI4eNcm0KBtNcI-l4tdSmaiNSDifhN139E9LUGMEn6tV_JVeBz0r061YZj7oJ5cvgj_wdtQn/s400/earings.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5352508042611996418" border="0" /></a>These gorgeous pear-shaped diamond earrings weigh 14.25 and 20.34 carats respectively. They are now part of the Smithsonian Institutions permanent collection. These were reported to be her favorite earrings and she wore them often….and who could disagree with that! Why, these beauties would match every outfit in a girl’s closet! These beautiful earrings were taken from her during the royal family’s capture after a failed attempt to flee France during the revolution. They were later acquired by a Russian Grand Duchess and then eventually sold to Cartier in 1928, who in turn sold them to Marjorie Merriweather Post (of the Post cereal family). After her death, her daughter donated them to the Smithsonian.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5SmSE-6gcrKMLvqLmL52GhGxH8v0SywYrPxwBtN6ZrdMhqi-1YqjafdpmTavH5fk53jTBvCwbgGJvUVHTCsv7M-_135ihoFZ3EcuzUg5D3wJLTyl-g7656mjbVMjgqMEttrTPaYL6kUk7/s1600-h/regent.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 346px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5SmSE-6gcrKMLvqLmL52GhGxH8v0SywYrPxwBtN6ZrdMhqi-1YqjafdpmTavH5fk53jTBvCwbgGJvUVHTCsv7M-_135ihoFZ3EcuzUg5D3wJLTyl-g7656mjbVMjgqMEttrTPaYL6kUk7/s400/regent.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5352508054920069138" border="0" /></a><span style="font-size:180%;"> <span style="font-weight: bold;">Meet The Regent</span></span><br /><br />This showpiece of the French Crown Jewels is called The Regent. It’s a whopping 140.50 carat stone! Be still my heart! Louis XV wore it in his crown for his coronation and then had the stone removed. Years later, Marie Antoinette came along and like any girl with an eye for sparkle, decided it would look wonderful worn on her black velvet hat. How stunning that must have looked! This treasure was stolen during the revolution and recovered 15 years later. And just to prove that royalty is not so different from the rest of us, when Napoleon ran short on cash, he pawned this gem to finance his war. Eventually it was return to the Crown Jewels of France and is now kept safe in the Louvre Museum.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRw74NyTvHmZNQA23iTQp0mVhvWI7gXjRqYsv9j5Hm5E7-6xuB4IufRtUCTZ8_IV3fOcXvzVK4mgBkP8KWz5Mihmq6i1ctypb5hAsOTCqhSir3sN5ax5syenEmZorLPHgjQR4iDsA3M2dD/s1600-h/hope.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 341px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRw74NyTvHmZNQA23iTQp0mVhvWI7gXjRqYsv9j5Hm5E7-6xuB4IufRtUCTZ8_IV3fOcXvzVK4mgBkP8KWz5Mihmq6i1ctypb5hAsOTCqhSir3sN5ax5syenEmZorLPHgjQR4iDsA3M2dD/s400/hope.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5352508050978457442" border="0" /></a><br /><span style="font-size:180%;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">And Then There's Hope<br /></span></span>The Hope Diamond began life as a large 112.8 carat diamond. It was originally purchased by King Louis the 14th. He had the court jewelers re-cut the stone to a more pleasing shape and it was reduced in size to just over 67 carats. It was called the French Blue because of its deep color and the King wore it on a ribbon for ceremonial occasions. This stunning gem was also with Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette when they attempted to flee France during the revolution. It was taken from them and turned over to the government. This was another treasure stolen during the revolution in 1792. The diamond ended up in the collection of King George the 4th of England and after his death, it was sold to pay his debts. It was purchased by a gem collector and eventually sold to a Washington DC socialite who made a necklace out of it. After her death, it was sold to Harry Winston who then donated it to the Smithsonian, where you can see it today.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgP0-BTzlHRK7AIGgKaXhZmVlHUdUff4PXaMaBIcNvPgK31P5GjRYll6pF-rlzPX2hJSwKs2EIP5-DcM9nkC_z722ma7SLyOycsPiKbqEGHZVs51OqKTaXFu_r0qY5YTlCX__MluI-wp-HC/s1600-h/pearls.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 333px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgP0-BTzlHRK7AIGgKaXhZmVlHUdUff4PXaMaBIcNvPgK31P5GjRYll6pF-rlzPX2hJSwKs2EIP5-DcM9nkC_z722ma7SLyOycsPiKbqEGHZVs51OqKTaXFu_r0qY5YTlCX__MluI-wp-HC/s400/pearls.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5352508051341773378" border="0" /></a>As Marie Antoinette matured, her preference for diamonds gave way to pearls. How she loved these pearls! As the revolution drew closer, she gave a bag filled with un-mounted pearls and diamonds to a dear confidant who was leaving France for England. Marie was never able to retrieve her jewelry and her friend kept them safe in her family for generations. The diamonds and pearls were eventually fashioned into a necklace, which also included rubies, for a grandchild’s wedding. This necklace came up for auction a couple of years ago but went unsold. I believe it’s now in a museum on display for everyone to enjoy.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9rApB_J9EYAwX5NiSRZ8MNFLLf9lnD9qBk_wX1qTivAEZJGW4n-hz_7-22GqWIh5uT5jz40NWj9R-HP8CX-EnJIeWfJnJO4bc0EJys3X94-Ci7kc2QsGa4wo9hoGVAQ5phHpb-lizJJR_/s1600-h/Inventory.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 285px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9rApB_J9EYAwX5NiSRZ8MNFLLf9lnD9qBk_wX1qTivAEZJGW4n-hz_7-22GqWIh5uT5jz40NWj9R-HP8CX-EnJIeWfJnJO4bc0EJys3X94-Ci7kc2QsGa4wo9hoGVAQ5phHpb-lizJJR_/s400/Inventory.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5352511160525523522" border="0" /></a>And this is the 2nd installment of her translated revolutionary inventory of her personal jewelry! A place where she could create a more simple life and way of being. Although the Petit Trianon is located on the grounds of Versailles, it became another world for Marie Antoinette. At Versailles, her every gesture was scrutinized and regulated down to the smallest detail. From what she wore to what she ate, from the moment she got up in the morning until the moment she went to bed. Her daily routine took place under the watchful eyes of courtiers, ladies-in-waiting, valets, footmen, nobility who vied for her favors and encroached on her privacy. At the Petit Trianon, she could escape in privacy to live as she wished. Totally optional, however if you decide to not take the time to fill it out please let me know, after the responses I will be emailing a list of you're 10 matches.<br /><br />I have been working on tons and tons around the house decorating, cleaning and craft wise that I've been dying to take pictures of for you on here- there isnt enough junking and artsy stuff to look at is there? Trust me it's around but right now my camera is having technical difficulties and is being repaired.<br /><br />It's about time for me to make dinner, the hubby got our favorite steak from whole foods so it's mom's famous mashed potatoes, daddy's yummy steak, some fresh cauliflower and of course salad with homemade dressing, mmmm.<br /><br />Hope you all are having a wonderful week- and spread the swapping word!!!<br /><br />XOXO<br />Le VintageLe_Vintagehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06344392563300453172noreply@blogger.com14tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5046795490188948069.post-38265719915441086702009-06-11T16:07:00.001-07:002009-06-11T16:43:56.623-07:00TAG SWAP<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpgY8eux7LeW39PKgbn6ZeYbdngjCV0D9JtuIPnB5bmOL-m3LMyI5-D89p1o5phRhFoB91OoA6K-WucZHc3YFtlpe-XXxnnhBKMf9a608LBi0lMVMnIuxlhju9sWfWkkWZ1XiYj_OQXXeJ/s1600-h/Tag+Swap.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 286px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpgY8eux7LeW39PKgbn6ZeYbdngjCV0D9JtuIPnB5bmOL-m3LMyI5-D89p1o5phRhFoB91OoA6K-WucZHc3YFtlpe-XXxnnhBKMf9a608LBi0lMVMnIuxlhju9sWfWkkWZ1XiYj_OQXXeJ/s400/Tag+Swap.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5346210864607014626" border="0" /></a><br />Summer is here and the weather is blossoming in Sunny Southern California. We've had some recent cloudy days but nothing I can complain about. I've been in such a Marie Antoinette mood lately- can you tell? Well I havent come across too many swaps in the blogging world lately so I it's about time I throw my own!<br /><br />How this works is very simple and tons of fun! The limit is 20 people, so sign up and tell you're friends fast! Once I have 20 people the sign up list will be closed. You can really get you're creative juices flowing in this one- I'm not putting restrictions on the size or style of you're tag, but please keep it fairly light and easy to ship. You will be making 10 Unique Marie Antoinette style gift tags that can be used for decorating, enhancing gifts, packaging, thank you notes, and almost any arts and crafts project you're working on.<br /><br />When the swap is closed I will send you the names of 10 fellow participants I've matched up for you but you can't see their blog yet in case they post pictures- you want it to be a surprise!!! You also have the option of filling out a short fun questionare about you're personal tastes, whether it's vintage, shabby chic, cottage cozy, whatever you're pleasure. Filling this out will help me match you up to similar artists, but it's not mandatory. You must have you're tags sent out to all you're matches by the due date- that's very important! Once I obtain notice that the recipient has received their beautiful tags check out their blogs and PROMOTE their creative talents to all you're blogging friends. And don't forget to take pictures of you're new treats!!!<br /><br />This is a wonderful way to show you're talents off and get you're blog name out there in the world. I love it because it passes time well, especially for stay at home mothers who need a creative outlet while the babies sleeping. hehe =]<br /><br />To sign up leave a cute comment with you're email address and the first 20 people will receive an email questionnaire regarding final shipping dates and further details. If chosen, please put the button on you're blog to show you're support.<br /><br />The main rule is you must only sign up if you are dedicated and are willing to go through with the swap- it's very important to everyone who is sweet enough to take time out of their day to do this and will make the whole experience more fun for everyone.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://www.vintage-le.blogspot.com"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 143px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhX1gxbHnapQ44kzPyRDYfXPIpKa403vRnjhHXsJZ9wAD_A7uc0sPkC8ATn0SPY9Dy7R1u5EUgF38x6Sc63rzLDsubIsJJ46tV5ACcNoMWN0t3TGAjT8ZFGzYbSzKq07LKaDiqZ71wOSH2f/s200/Tag+Swap.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5346219665232287954" border="0" /></a>Here's a button, feel free to throw it up on you're page to get the swap together quicker!!!<br /><br />the link to connect it to is www.vintage-le.blogspot.com<br /><br />I can't wait to see all the creative and fun people that sign up for this swap- let's get this show on the road!<br /><br />XOXOLe_Vintagehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06344392563300453172noreply@blogger.com24tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5046795490188948069.post-12272623442807380362009-06-09T18:17:00.001-07:002009-06-09T18:26:27.884-07:00Queen of DebtIts been too long!!!!<br /><br />I've been crafting away at tons of fun sweets for my etsy shop and for myself.<br /><br />One of my favorite little tools right now is these adorable little jars that are just perfect for storing my crafts and other supplies. It's going on 6 months now that I'm unemployed and I am moving in a month. I'm excited to pack and feel refreshed in a new place, this one is filled with too many bad memories.<br /><br />Yesterday was one of the first good days in a while, in addition to making a sale on etsy for the first time in too long, and the amazing butterflies I get when I can share a vintage antique with a fellow cabinet card lover, but my hubby made the sweetest dinner, an amazing steak and potatoes and desert and appetizer too! He is an amazing cook, I guess I'm the baker because I love making the sweet treats. We spent the night having a movie night with our friend Dan, unfortunately his girlfriend Christina had to work. There was even a marathon of my favorite show during the day and best of all- yesterday I found out an article I submitted for a local Southern California magazine was accepted. Shhhh the magazine is a secret because I'm bashful, but let's just say I'm proud of myself.<br /><br />Today was not so good, I found out I'll have to pay an extra $500 on my last month of rent due to a bad roommate, and I've spent the day battling legal situations and delegating with my lawyer. It really drains the energy from me and I think constantly about how it would be so easy to just be friends if people weren't so stubborn.<br /><br />I've been working hard on finding new vintage photographs for people because my selection on etsy doesn't appear to be flourishing enough, I'm just so nervous to put more and more up when the old ones have been up for so long...I'm sure you guys will say "it'll sell" hehe. I'm not sure if I need more selection or more cliental, I spend time researching but it's hard to not take it personally after a while.<br /><br />I can share a few with you, I need to pass the time until the hubby gets back and I can make dinner, but that won't be until 11 pm and I wish I had more crafts to make. Otherwise, I can just keep blogging and hope I'm not boring you!<br /><br />Here's a few for you're viewing pleasure. I'd love to know you're favorite's I haven't put all these on my etsy yet and I'd love to know the final consences. Let me know!<br /><br />How about a Poll!?!?!?<br />I want YOUR opinion <3 <br /><br />1.<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRs9xBr44VFDTewLFtyj5aY3muysXBobR4-eFOdampXtQwWR2FOwprO47PvFjrk8wN-tYuTcbsiSUD3UdGmu6r0KqrOzxNTemHCW_0hthgqB7O8Dttw3f0aJZ_aZBxJfPyj72wYde9a3wI/s1600-h/%C2%A9scan0001-3.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 249px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRs9xBr44VFDTewLFtyj5aY3muysXBobR4-eFOdampXtQwWR2FOwprO47PvFjrk8wN-tYuTcbsiSUD3UdGmu6r0KqrOzxNTemHCW_0hthgqB7O8Dttw3f0aJZ_aZBxJfPyj72wYde9a3wI/s400/%C2%A9scan0001-3.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5335856128368720962" border="0" /></a><br /><br />2.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAdjLjdkz5Q7vs3ZqGmJnAP2znbX3xScb-AXsCmJ1Y4whem-YArNS11GyptkL_fgseiOkBjTifXmr7vxPVJRguVl2sPClO-LOoRsJL7qRDOooDR7k3pdN3RLw0XobcBqNBwI1LBj6A4hjW/s1600-h/scan0001.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 243px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAdjLjdkz5Q7vs3ZqGmJnAP2znbX3xScb-AXsCmJ1Y4whem-YArNS11GyptkL_fgseiOkBjTifXmr7vxPVJRguVl2sPClO-LOoRsJL7qRDOooDR7k3pdN3RLw0XobcBqNBwI1LBj6A4hjW/s400/scan0001.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5335856864155019714" border="0" /></a><br /><br />what about those beautiful signature unique one of a kind backs that make the most fascinating rare projects with you're own cabinet card? the forgotten side....<br /><br />3.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_hBJ49Bvsfhfh3sWCUU5VHURTqFS9KmkxGiCGcvuf22_s6-vzJKSsqpT-4lEhhK_8Rb5Eb6LdhidsAyouKIJ-BsjWCrcB0KnLUKyt3KAFDSh7tw-SlwF3iRDWe55lsVvgaMKPqN4rPCrD/s1600-h/%C2%A9scan0009-1.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 266px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_hBJ49Bvsfhfh3sWCUU5VHURTqFS9KmkxGiCGcvuf22_s6-vzJKSsqpT-4lEhhK_8Rb5Eb6LdhidsAyouKIJ-BsjWCrcB0KnLUKyt3KAFDSh7tw-SlwF3iRDWe55lsVvgaMKPqN4rPCrD/s400/%C2%A9scan0009-1.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5335857020462426370" border="0" /></a><br />4.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHlJx7RckAh_Hp1e_Uhk-ZP8t2HHrSVIbURoVEVSTQS9jz_BY7oGBqiEZkACn1xw8Gku3d_btsYyYYIU1roquI9a-88cz4r5Nc7XQIDf7Ey2XCXV47mIcy-jRBKu46YnP-beFsTW7vHRFo/s1600-h/%C2%A9scan0011-1.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 253px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHlJx7RckAh_Hp1e_Uhk-ZP8t2HHrSVIbURoVEVSTQS9jz_BY7oGBqiEZkACn1xw8Gku3d_btsYyYYIU1roquI9a-88cz4r5Nc7XQIDf7Ey2XCXV47mIcy-jRBKu46YnP-beFsTW7vHRFo/s400/%C2%A9scan0011-1.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5335857091227537586" border="0" /></a>5.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOVqDDS5fp8trOK8zbgOl66Df1E9KgGGk2ndAYQc6iYITp5q2uQeDg_7UbKpdiF4R-Fg4vuc3MNLyt6xhShsQ3kiivQInPs6hMbtQgdD5nnRJWUwlo-IMhXeimOzQHZvo3iQlCHvG7IWIA/s1600-h/%C2%A9scan0014.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 268px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOVqDDS5fp8trOK8zbgOl66Df1E9KgGGk2ndAYQc6iYITp5q2uQeDg_7UbKpdiF4R-Fg4vuc3MNLyt6xhShsQ3kiivQInPs6hMbtQgdD5nnRJWUwlo-IMhXeimOzQHZvo3iQlCHvG7IWIA/s400/%C2%A9scan0014.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5335858024180007314" border="0" /></a>6.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdPGi4s5FUHqH44DKBQXuHksE5Ma2bffdO_vUS6OFh524OwnaiQRjooGqIfLywC3TvVc2l__eP3cFoPhnmKLbEhcFYywpaSUAhrTBZnKffSpNLe9GWNln9_BT6OKitWNCAdNRmYD9MexNV/s1600-h/%C2%A9scan0006.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 278px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdPGi4s5FUHqH44DKBQXuHksE5Ma2bffdO_vUS6OFh524OwnaiQRjooGqIfLywC3TvVc2l__eP3cFoPhnmKLbEhcFYywpaSUAhrTBZnKffSpNLe9GWNln9_BT6OKitWNCAdNRmYD9MexNV/s400/%C2%A9scan0006.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5335858492750896562" border="0" /></a><br />Well there are six beautiful antique photographs I could explain each in detail but I want to know which one you love the most! Each tells a story and has an intricate background following it close behind. If you're creative enough, you can take any vintage image and make it into a masterpiece, partly for respect and partly for the love of it.<br />And if you're interested at all in genealogy, don't hesitate to delve into the depths of our ancestors.<br /><br />These will all be going on sale slowly the next few days on my etsy, if you have particular interest in purchasing one before I put it up there, don't hesitate to inform me.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgToUcTUBbHoLJLpYXUVcV3SAQ-m_8fKevG5a-X_G3yA2Q-XTlJAQ7bRYf6du3R6Nq8360dEGtHQTGvIRN6bjzWsJE6hZm-4c7ppq0ds1MjyorWBT7wiJYHVityrcZ0VpM6Bq-hjNvJzpUM/s1600-h/%C2%A9scan0001-5.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 260px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgToUcTUBbHoLJLpYXUVcV3SAQ-m_8fKevG5a-X_G3yA2Q-XTlJAQ7bRYf6du3R6Nq8360dEGtHQTGvIRN6bjzWsJE6hZm-4c7ppq0ds1MjyorWBT7wiJYHVityrcZ0VpM6Bq-hjNvJzpUM/s400/%C2%A9scan0001-5.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5330356715877816130" border="0" /></a><br />This is such a lovely image of an eldely man with such a goofy mustache! This cabinet car is perfect for all you're crafting needs but instead of spending all my time telling you how amazing this photograph is and what great condition it's in, let's spend our time browsing all the other treasures I have!<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMvx8RJywS_VC04w98CmijS5A7oBlqSAtXzeTVJQEbBGnXHdqtrvbIL9W-FCwYd9dGdMJ5w1k7OTQmmi-3hV2xN5s1rg6V_zKoTwkN7adaeAKfRMwUSGnaAFH0SUpB_TgsUc1eeVfO_Yps/s1600-h/scan0003-3.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 301px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMvx8RJywS_VC04w98CmijS5A7oBlqSAtXzeTVJQEbBGnXHdqtrvbIL9W-FCwYd9dGdMJ5w1k7OTQmmi-3hV2xN5s1rg6V_zKoTwkN7adaeAKfRMwUSGnaAFH0SUpB_TgsUc1eeVfO_Yps/s400/scan0003-3.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5330356838764657138" border="0" /></a><br />One of my personal favorite, this photograph is dated by the photographer "Taken Aug. 1941. " What an antique! Dressed in his military uniform, this gentleman was either leaving for war or just returning. app. 3 x 4, this is a completly authentic image, unique an one of a kind on it's printed photography paper, unlike a cabinet card it was most likely photographed by a closed loved one and is filled with the most precious memories.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgh4big43OZEa8i_Fj65vkOo1P55whq3sefF2MI0gsdz5zvTvpQKE6y2v70GnFbZ3ZdIq_406JLdxZ3jSXyeneOJ2YUSV7xa2KYh_34q2Ue1tAcn0ieFi5PcmkniYs8EHfy3UPsyQW7WD2c/s1600-h/%C2%A9scan0006-1.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 269px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgh4big43OZEa8i_Fj65vkOo1P55whq3sefF2MI0gsdz5zvTvpQKE6y2v70GnFbZ3ZdIq_406JLdxZ3jSXyeneOJ2YUSV7xa2KYh_34q2Ue1tAcn0ieFi5PcmkniYs8EHfy3UPsyQW7WD2c/s400/%C2%A9scan0006-1.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5330358171052128498" border="0" /></a><br />If you've ever wondered what a beautiful woman looks like, you can always take a look at an antique cabinet card. Forget those hustlers and maxims, if you want to look at trash than you can feel like poop. Here is a unique example of what a adriana lima looked like in their time. This young lady was famous for being a town looker, and in the scrapbook that this was removed from it said she won beauty queen 195- and it was scratched out =[<br />Her lovely dress looks like something from a pageant and This card is in such lovely shape. for information on the photographer and details, inquire in a simple comment. All photographs available for $5 plus shipping by request or on my etsy, so be sure to check it out.<br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgALwvKCz4H-63-BZJFuUehmxo3xIY5Jolaoa8NfiO79v4_hyTzL1_CmdjzqRR-3eG52qq5sGDWKXga_hEMjmKy08zX9AMbleYXBnXWwV9hZAWN_OaaLQUnyhKSv2TJPicoGXmjaJOUH6NA/s1600-h/%C2%A9scan0007-2.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 266px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgALwvKCz4H-63-BZJFuUehmxo3xIY5Jolaoa8NfiO79v4_hyTzL1_CmdjzqRR-3eG52qq5sGDWKXga_hEMjmKy08zX9AMbleYXBnXWwV9hZAWN_OaaLQUnyhKSv2TJPicoGXmjaJOUH6NA/s400/%C2%A9scan0007-2.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5330360260119436466" border="0" /></a><br />And last but not least the goofiest of all, an amazing example of the extensive amount of maids neccesary to intricate an old fashioned hair style, a rea demonstration of what we'd call a modern alfalfe but to them was what we call a fashoinable fuckt. (if you dont know what that is, it's the australian term for those large bulbs of hair covering only the top portion of you're head like a speed bump. i learned that because it was a fashion trend during the last 2 years of my 11 year irish dancing career.<br /><br />Hope you enjoy these photos and etsy's been slow lately so take a look.<br /><br />CABINET CARD SWAP STILL AVAILABLE TO SIGN UP FOR LOOKING FOR SOME SWEET CANIDITES TO HAVE A GREAT TIME WITH!<br /><br />L.v_Le_Vintagehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06344392563300453172noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5046795490188948069.post-17985025380340392682009-04-24T16:22:00.000-07:002009-04-24T17:03:08.586-07:00Marie Antoinette<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSXmAFvMXXprWYNiObI9XH74BhI_maMBWgODMxqQZfW7zYhGyUNZkfnhKyxoRFvF9nrTIaA3hiDGNPNBygeUtugboADSjwVUOOsDO-B_bsQ_QLAjFT3Dlona22myAz4RNSLrVRopCkxBJ4/s1600-h/CIMG5171.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSXmAFvMXXprWYNiObI9XH74BhI_maMBWgODMxqQZfW7zYhGyUNZkfnhKyxoRFvF9nrTIaA3hiDGNPNBygeUtugboADSjwVUOOsDO-B_bsQ_QLAjFT3Dlona22myAz4RNSLrVRopCkxBJ4/s400/CIMG5171.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5328404146586313330" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-5eLWzh9JNHTsWhFqyl-uKMPOk8YmQIQHwmkpmHZNIlM3BHP3ElFvas-2MnyUwOGeMxPvnUpgm9rXbTTwR4uKSrTv8wwDMsLr1grRBLF5RsRnSJmy3ieJtt1f8XuG25j0Z4q58b7ppgQO/s1600-h/CIMG5185.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-5eLWzh9JNHTsWhFqyl-uKMPOk8YmQIQHwmkpmHZNIlM3BHP3ElFvas-2MnyUwOGeMxPvnUpgm9rXbTTwR4uKSrTv8wwDMsLr1grRBLF5RsRnSJmy3ieJtt1f8XuG25j0Z4q58b7ppgQO/s400/CIMG5185.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5328404078429273458" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;">Buttons and Lace and Gemstones, OH MY!<br /><br />I made another bottle since you guys liked my first one so much! These are on a pale pink damask background with a detailed image of a chandelier on it, all with 12 crystal rhinestones on it.<br />Beautiful detailed lace is used for the ribbon, and the backs are left blank for all you're tagging needs.<br />I'm always excited to hear you're opinion and see you're suggestions!!!<br /><br /><br /><div style="text-align: right;">Check out this amazing, perfect, adorable petite size little teapot/needle pin pusher. I found it hidden deep in a local antique shop and couldnt let the treasure get away. The teapot is still in great condition and has all the original gems attached.
