  • The Mad Hatter
  • The White Queen
  • The Red Queen
  • Jabberwok
Yes, that is a list of the psychedelic characters that were written by Charles Lutwidge Dodgson under the pseudonym Lewis Carroll in 1985. I think I may have even missed a few! Unknown to some people, there are 2 versions of Alice's Adventures In Wonderland, one called Alice's Adventure Underground, and a sequel called Through the Looking Glass and what Alice found there.

Although Tweedle Dee, Tweedle Dum, Humpty Dumpty, and The Jabberwok only appear in the sequel, "Through the Looking Glass" we will ignore that for Disney's sake. And don't confuse The Queen of Hearts with the Red Queen, who appears in the second novel.

Were doing this swap one of two ways-
The first choice is each participant makes a tag for each character and ships all 12 off to a partner who did the same.

Pro: Saves money on shipping
Con: All you're tags are from one person

The second option is to do it the same style as the Marie one, where you make 10 different tags from picking 10 different Alice characters, and send them off after I match you with corrosponding partners.

Pro: A plethora of creativity and different styles
Con: Shipping prices

If you're interested in the swap leave a comment here saying number 1 or number 2 on how you want to do the swap and include you're email address.

After the results of that there will be one more post including rules, information, answering questions, and allowing more people to sign up. Don't worry, you'll have plenty of time to prepare for the swap, and here's the banner so put it up on you're blog and let's get this swap going!!!!!

  2. Really, I'm happy with either plan, but for the sake of exciting mail deliveries and variety, I'll choose number 2! I noticed that most people delivered their tags in regular envelopes with a cardboard "padding" in it last time. I think I'll go that route this time as the shipping will be cheaper. But COUNT ME IN!!!

  5. I would like to suggest choice No 3. People choose from the characters listed, but just "one" character. Say I chose the Cat, then there would be nine left to chose from. I would make ten. They could be the same or each different in some way. We would send them in, where you could swap them out. I would get one of each from people doing the other 9 characters. This way you only have to make one character tag ten times, and still wind up with an assortment. True, I may not get the character I "want" depending on what is available when I sign up, but it would be so much easier for you to keep track and swap out.

  6. I guess, No. 2 is my choice, only because we get artwork from different artists. How much time are we going to have to do our tags? ~Nancy V.

  7. I like Debra's #3 suggestion because the shipping will be less, and we would still get tags from different artists.
